Abstract
When it is completed in 1994, Hong Kong's 481,237 sq m usable floor area Asia Terminals Centre Kwai Chung will replace Russia's Nizhniy Tagil Railroad Car and Tank Plant as the largest industrial building in the world. That it exists is proof of the anticipated importance of Hong Kong as China's southern entrepot and the commitment to Hong Kong's future by its developer, Asia Terminals Ltd.
位於葵涌，實用面積高達四十八萬一千二百三十七平方米的亞洲貨櫃中心，九四年完成後，將取代蘇聯的Nizhniy Tagil Railroad Car and Tank Plant，成為世界上最大型的多層工業貨倉及貨櫃站。它的出現標誌了香港作為轉口港的重要地位，同時，也表示了亞洲貨櫃有限公司對未來充滿信心。
