Abstract
Hong Kong is already a nerve centre for multinationals - our strengths in finance, services and infrastructure, the strong rule of law and political stability, low corporate and personal income taxes and a well-educated English-speaking workforce see to that. With the leverage of these existing strengths, the Cyberport development is part of the effort to transform Hong Kong into Asia's premier information services and technology hub. The development hopes to foster the cyberculture needed for speedy progress of the local IT sector.
