Abstract
In Shanghai's booming Pudong district buildings are going up like there's no tomorrow. Corporate office towers, hotels and commercial centres are now starting to dominate the skyline as the area is rapidly transformed into one of the most modern and dynamic metropolis in China. However, one particular project is breaking the trend for large scale commercial developments. The Shanghai Children's Medical Center will soon offer an unprecedented level of medical care for the City's younger generation.
