Abstract
The Estate & Development Office of the Hong Kong Polytechnic, in cooperation with P&T Archiects and Engineers Ltd as joint-architects, were charged with designing: a link to the north campus direct from the footbridge from the KCR station, computer clusters, a television studio, staff ofices, multi-purpose teaching and heavy workshop space, and an additional floor on top of the existing library use. The lawn and as much of the Main Buiding as possible had to be retained.
