Abstract
Heralded as the Dragon's Head, Shanghai is rapidly emerging as one of the regions leading commercial centres. With the Pudong area shaping up as the business hub, the city's main districts will soon be unrecognisable from their low-rise origins just a few years ago. This article takes a look at a cross-section of developments around the city and in the months ahead many of these projects will become the focus of greater attention as feature articles.
