Abstract
No matter how rocky the reception given by environmentalists since its proposal in 1990, Black Point Power Station is happy to crash through any barriers and construction is now in full swing.
Castle Peak Power Company Ltd, which is owned by Exxon Energy Ltd (60%) and China Light & Power Co Lte (CLP) (40%), is developing the first phase of the 6,000mw station to be operational in 1996 with a generating capacity of 2,400mw.
自從一九九零年爛角咀發電廠的方案提出後, 便不斷受到環保人士的猛烈抨擊, 縱雖如此, 青山發電有限公司郤排除萬難, 而工程正進行得如火如荼。
青山發電有限公司是由埃克森能源有限公司(60%)和中華電力有限公司(40%)擁有, 其發展的爛角咀發電廠總規範達六百萬瓩, 第一期將於九六年運作, 屆時發電量達二百四十萬瓩。
