Abstract
In the context of bustling Hong Kong, small but increasingly dynamic Macau and changing Guangdong Province of Mainland China, it is difficult to choose just ten outstanding projects as being representative of current civil engineering and related developments.
As to why we chose these particular developments, the answer is that each has or will have some form of basic importance to the community in which it is located.
要在繁囂忙亂的香港、充滿活力的澳門和急速轉變中的廣東省，選出十項最突出而具代表性的工程項目，實在並不容易。
正因如此，我們挑選為九一年十大工程的十個建築項目，除工程本身特別外，對當地社會亦有其重要性。
