Abstract
We were engaged as Architects by an Employer to design a building. The building has been completed and sold to an entirely different company, with whom we have never had any dealings. We have recently received a claim from this new company for goods damaged by water ingress caused by our allegedly negligent design. Given the fact that we have never heard of this company before, is there any chance that we could be liable?
