Abstract
The clean modern lines of the Knoxville Museum of Art in Knoxville, Tennessee were designed by celebrated New York Architect, Edward Larabee Barnes along with John M Y Lee and Benjamin Kracauer. The Museum, flanked on both sides by wide courtyards, stands on a bluff overlooking the 1982 World's Fair site. The steel and concrete building creates a strong presence in downtown Knoxville with its strong geometry and Tennessee pink marble facing.
