Abstract
Mention the words Hong Kong Central Library to many architects and the response is likely to induce a head-in-hands gesture and the pronouncement of three diplomatic but profound words: a missed opportunity. Rebecca Lo has bravely expanded on the sentiment by attempting to explain why she thinks this building does little to contribute to Hong Kong architecture.
