Jockey Club Headquarter: happy returns

Abstract
For the flagship of a project that had a road, several buildings, a tramstop and 15 Banyan trees relocated in its honour, the Jockey Club Headquarters at Happy Valley racecourse is a low-key affair. Just 17 storeys high, it does not dominate the local skyscape, though it could have been higher than its 83 metres. A reinforced concrete structure clad in contrasting tones of gray granite, it is, grandstand views of the racetrack and hi-tech intelligent features aside, a smart, but pretty standard office block.
