Abstract
Not all Hong Kong sites are owner-friendly, so that developers must rely on architects to produce economically-viable buildings in unusually-shaped areas. This was the case with Quarry Bay's godown-office premises Eastern Harbour Centre, whose trapezium-shaped site was reduced by the architect to the simplicity of two more-suitable geometric shapes.
