Abstract
Even though blessed with the famous sea frontage, the people of Hong Kong are effectively living in a walled city, surrounded by skyscraping structures and almost uniformly denied of any meaningful access to the waterfront. To generate ideas to rectify the situation, a recently launched competition by Designing Hong Kong attracted over 80 entries from Hong Kong, China and overseas with the single aim of creating a 'world-class harbourfront'. Perspective presents its own favourite entries - and, perhaps, a glimpse of Hong Kong's future too
香港雖然是一個海島城市, 可是我們實際上卻是住在一座水泥叢林之中, 四周被屏風一般的高樓大廈圍繞, 很少有機會親近海洋. 為改變此一情形, 近期創建香港舉行「中環海傍國際性城市規劃及設計比賽」, 吸引來自香港本地, 中國大陸, 海外地區共三百多個參賽方案, 目的在於創造一個屬於我們的世界級海港. <<透視>> 精心挑選出以下幾個香港人最喜愛的入選作品, 或許藉此可預見香港未來的海濱藍圖
