Abstract
Just as "Legionnaire's Disease" once was the "in" topic, "Sick Building Syndrome" (SBS) has now become the 'talk of the town.' Unfortunately, SBS is a misnomer which has led to some misunderstandings by various professionals and the public. One common mistake is to ascribe any symptom of sickness or illness acquired from a building, or its related system, as SBS.
