Abstract
The building of Hong Kong Disneyland is all about adherence to The Story. The inking of the landscape palette to make the story a reality rather than a fantasy has been thoroughly researched and refreshingly planned to integrate the theme park with the real world. Tony Smyth looks at the Hong Kong story to date and also talks to Kathy Ng Tze-kwun, senior landscape architect at Hong Kong's Civil Engineering Department as the storyboard unfolds.
