Abstract
Part of the recently completed Nordic Embassy complex in Berlin, the Danish component has raised new expectations concerning embassy architecture. Be it restrictive site conditions or stringent building regulations, it is impossible for architects to work without constraints. It's a matter of either compromising creativity in order to get round those restrictions, or manipulating them to reinvent something surprisingly pure. The latter has definitely been adopted by the architects - the triple barrelled Danes, Nielsen Nielsen and Nielsen, (3xN).
