Abstract
The new Regional Express Network E line stations in central Paris, namely Magenta and Haussmann Saint-Lazare, inaugurate a new era in underground transport architecture. Far from attempting to conceal the exact nature of the underground world, the layout of these two EOLE stations highlight it and make it meaningful.
