Abstract
The 1997 handover may have been and gone, but British architects and contractors still play an integral role in designing and defining the future of Hong Kong, and the Asia-Pacific region in general. David Robinson spoke to three architectural firms and a contractor, and found many innovative examples of construction and design within southeast Asia's rapidly evolving metropolises.
