Abstract
World renowned architect I M Pei, of Bank of China fame, has called back to the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, New York to design a new addition to his original building which dates back to 1968. This was a significant project for I M Pei, being his first museum commission in 1961 and was therefore able to persuade him out of retirement and back to the drawing board.
