Abstract
A new, regular feature debuts in this second issue of ARCH. Monologue is intended to act as a vehicle for individuals in the architecture, design and visual communications professions, as well as those in related industries, to air their opinions, delight, even dismay, concerning our visually oriented society. Perhaps occasionally our readers, too, will be encouraged to submit the odd whimsical opinion or penetrating analysis. Variety, scope and originality can all be embraced in the format of Monologue.
