Abstract
(1) First off the mark in 2002 to welcome a new season of furniture trends is the International Furniture Fair in Cologne (www.furniturefair-cologne.com). January's week long event showed tell-tale signs of what's to come this year. Around 1,500 exhibitiors from 46 countries gave visitors a wide spectrum of inspiration. With 67% of visitors coming from outside Germany, the fair continues to demonstrate its cache as a global forum for furniture and furnishings.
