Abstract
Construction has commenced on Malaysia's North-South highway. Covering 850 kilometres, from Bukit Kayu Hitam on the Thailand border in the north, to Johar Bahru opposite Singapore in the south, the project forms the backbone of the road network along the developed West Coast of peninsula Malaysia.
