Abstract
The designation Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) has officially replaced Building Contractors Association of Hong Kong (BCA) as the name of the organisation representing the interests of building construction and civil engineering contractors and various other common-interest grups.
In that such a change often mirrors modification in the basis for an association, Construction & Contract News (which has carried BCA news for almost a decade), interviewed HKCA president and Gammon Construction Ltd Deputy Group Managing Director K L Chong on that and other topics.
