Abstract
Mr Wong Wah Sang, Associate Professor, Department of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong, and Mr Bernard Lim, Associate Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, were awarded a Certificate of Merit in the category of Research in the 'Outstanding Green Project Awards 2000' organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects and the Society of Horticulture, Hong Kong. This is a biennial award for promoting greening and environment-conscious development in Hong Kong. The research was 'Innovative Housing Design' (Hung Shui Kiu Area 13) sponsored by the Hong Kong Housing Society. The Award Presentataion was held on 16 February 2000 at the Leisure and Cultural Services Headquarters and officiated by Mrs Lily Yam, Mr Paul S. W. Leung, Mrs Au Lee Ting and Prof. Hu Shui Ying.
