Abstract
Denton Corker Marshall, in collaboration with Glasgow-based Glass Murray Architects, were one of 70 architectural companies who entered a competition to design the new Scottish Parliament last year. The DCM-Glass Murray proposal promising an "ordered, yet transparent and open building" advanced to the semi-finals but the final honours went to Spanish architect Enric Miralles, teaming up with RMJM, who carried the day.
