Abstract
In bustling Hong Kong, the humble bathroom can transcend its functional status and form an oasis of tranquillity for harried city dwellers. Ensconced in a tiled sanctuary with soft lighting, bathed in cleansing steam and soothed by Vivaldi, one can sluice the stress of the workaday world from one's being and emerge refreshed and revitalised. An appropriately designed bathroom offers this refuge, and Hong Kong's increasingly discerning flat-purchases are realising the possibilities, in terms of both personal comfort and the value which is added to the overal flat.
