Abstract
To celebrate its centenary last year, international illumination giant Philips Lighting Group opened a Lighting Application Centre in its home base of Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The world's largest showplace of products and systems, the 3,600-sq m gross floor area Centre is described by senior vice-president Dr S H A Begemann as "a unique opportunity to experience, first hand, examples of modern lighting technology in real-life situations."
