The design brief for the Regent Diaoyutai Hotel, which will be located in the State Guesthouse Compound in Beijing, on the site of the ancient fishing pavilion known as "Diaoyutai", reflects the classical aesthetic values of ancient Chinese culture in an idiom of modern elegance.
