Abstract
Vital as the link between the Tate's Cairn Tunnel and the Eastern Harbour Crossing and as part of Route 6, the final two phases of the Kwun Tong Bypass comprised a 3.7-km dual carriageway, slip roads, local roads and associated infrastructure works.
The Phase II and III contracts were separately awarded to the Dragages-BSG joint venture of Dragages et Travaux Publics (90%) and Bachy-Soletanche (10%) as design-and-build packages, with Dragages as main contractor and Bachy-Soletanche as foundation contract.
Dragages-BSG project director Yannick Le Luyer tells how the project was put together, which he points out was by means of the "contractor method-design combination system," which is popular in Europe but not in Britain or British overseas territories.
觀塘繞道連接大老山隧道和東區海底隧道,是六號幹綫重要一環。第二和第三期工程包括建造一條三點七公里的雙綫行車道、支道和其他相連的道路設施。
觀塘繞道第二期和第三期工程合約,由香港濬海及法國地基組成的合營公司,以設計/建造承包方案取得。其中香港濬海及公共建築工程有限公司佔合營公司百份之九十權益,而法國地基則佔百分之十。香港濬海擔任工程的總承建商,而法國地基則負責地基工程。
