Abstract
Niels Kraunsoe is adept at the art of giving a good interview. Perhaps because one of his key tasks as the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Chief Executive for the new Extension to the Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) was persuading anyone who wanted to know that the landmark building would be completed in time to host the ceremonies for the return of the territory to China. That 30 June deadline was strictly non-negotiable, and this was the man with the overall responsibility for seeking that it was met.
