Abstract
At the recent Light + Building Exhibition in Frankfurt one booming market trend stood out from the rest: LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). In many cases, LEDs are fast becoming futuristic alternatives to conventional light sources bringing with them cost savings, an array of effects and ever improving preformance levels. This success has meant that both niche LED manufacturers and the traditional big players are offering LED-based illumination solutions. AAC takes a look.
