Abstract
CITIC Tower, CITIC Pacific's flagship development, has a reputation for drawing the eye. Its silvery presence occupies a harbourfront site just east of the croweded Central skyline, near Tamar Basin. At dusk, the building is outlined by powerful metal halide spotlights. This luminance in the night-time hours - coupled with its unique presentation as an equilateral triangle structure with rounded corners, skygardens, and floorplate modulations - makes CITIC Tower a landmark edifice for hong Kong at century's end.
