Abstract
As to the exhibition of MVRDV, instead of saying that we are doing an architectural show, it would be more appropriate to say it is an exhibition that expresses contemplation on China's urban issues. Our concern here is mostly from a humanistic standpoint, one that gives respect and recognition to the culture as expressed in the architectural design of MVRDV, and their prudent and restraint attitute towards the rich possibilities of urban renewal. I believe their position and attitude are extremely relevant for dealing with urban issues of contemporary China.
