Abstract
Shui On Civil Contractors Ltd is carrying out what amounts to the construction of the entire road system interconnecting the north portals of the Tate's Cairn Tunnel, which is scheduled to open in mid-1991, with Shatin new town, Ma On Shan new town and the Tolo Highway to Taipo and Fanling.
Comprising Territory Development Department contracts T6 (Stage II) and T7, the works have a total value of $682 million, $350 million for T6 and $332 for T7. Together, they encompass virtually every facet of road-building known in Hong Kong.
由瑞安土木工程有限公司承建的T6(第二期)和T7公路，是連接大老山隧道北面出口與馬鞍山新市鎮與吐露港公路的道路網。
這兩份由拓展署批出的合約，合共價值六億八千二百萬元，其中T6公路合約，價值三億五千萬元，T7則價值三億三千二百萬元。兩條公路的工程，包含了本港慣常採用的各方面建路技術。
