Abstract
Alan Macdonald, an architect interested in computer graphics and animation, set up Architect Audio-Visual Ltd. six years ago to address the perceived need for top quality, highly specialized 3D computer graphics, animation and video production for property developers, architects, town planners and engineers.
1. Why did you give up as a practicing architect and go into the computer graphics animation business?
2. You were the first person to build a computer model of Victoria Harbour and make photo-montages. How did you create your many 'firsts'?
3. Do you think the graphics and animation business (architectural presentation) is a sunrise industry? What is your perspective on this business?
4. As an architect with 18 years experience in Hong Kong, what is your opinion about Hong Kong architecture and town planning?
