Abstract
Initiated in 1989, the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects' annual awards scheme is aimed at giving recognition to "outstanding examples of landsxape architecture in Hong Kong."
In 1990, the HKILA honoured three town parks that are, in reality, green escapes from urban jungles and recognised a tree-planting project that is making Central District a nicer place in which to work.
