Abstract
The design and construction of sports and recreation facilities in Hong Kong is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the building market. The health craze of the 1980s, combined with a renewed government commitment toward promoting leisure facilities, ensures the upward curve in the amount of money devoted to such projects will continue for the foreseeable future.
