Abstract
Ever since the lifting of the casino monopoly, Macau has turned into a boomtown. Land reclamation and continuous development has changed this once sleepy enclave into an exciting city with entertainment options for any and all tastes. One of this year's highlights will be the 4th East Asian Games, held between 29 October and 6 November 2005. Staged once every four years, the sport event will take place across five venues within Macau.
