Abstract
May 1994 saw the breakthrough of the Route Three Cheung Ching Tunnel. A detonation was performed by the Chief Secretary, Mrs Anson Chan.
青衣島長青隧道於5月9日舉行貫通典禮, 並由布政司陳方安生主持。隧道的貫通工程, 比原定時間提早了兩個月, 若由去年開始進行爆石起計, 剛好一年。
