Abstract
Having lain dormant for nearly 20 years the old Bankside Power Station is re-injecting life of a different kind into the city of London. A new building has been formed within the walls of the old and where there was once the whirring of industrial machinery, now there is an electric buzz as thousands of people a day glide through the space of the Tate Modern.
