Abstract
Outlines of proposals submitted for the West Kowloon Cultural District have been released following the submissions deadline for the project in June. The Government invited proposals for the Cultural District, located on a waterfront site at the West Kowloon reclamation, in September last year and received five submissions. Plans for the 40-hectare site came from a joint-venture between Cheung Kong (Holdings) and Sun Hung Kai Properties; a joint venture between Sino Land, Wharf Estates, Chinese Estates Holdings and K Wah International Holdings; Henderson Land Development; Swire Properties Ltd; and Lam Sze-tat.
