Abstract
While most public housing residents would be less than surprised that their living spaces are predestined by design, the better-off who live in prestige environments might be a little miffed to discover their personal layouts were likely designed on a computer.
While such advanced technology initially lends itself to grandiose projects like Hong Kong's new airport, computer aided design systems (CAD) are being used by more interior designers to their advantage.
