Abstract
Strange as it may seem, it is possible to build a 30-kilometre continuous stretch of road in a crowded Hong Kong that one humour columnist descibed as "postage stamp" in size. That road will be Route 3 and will, when it and its associated projects are opened, link Hong Kong Island to the China border.
三號幹線是一條長30km的高速公路, 連接中港邊界至香島, 沿途經過新界中部(大欖)﹑汀九﹑青衣﹑西九龍﹑西區海隧及西營盤, 是香港未來一條主要交通幹道。
