Abstract
At a recent AIA Hong Kong meeting, members and guests were treated to a special visit by American architect and AIA Gold Medal winner Michael Graves, in town on his way between Bali and China. Attendees got to gander at a cross section of his recent and not-so-recent work, including a startling quantity of projects both built and in development within Asia. For many in the audience, listening to Graves recall some of his professional 'war stories' and also remind them of the architecture requires, was not a little like having a family visit from a respected uncle.
