Abstract
Professor Fumihiko Maki visited Hong Kong last month as the guest of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor Maki used this time to impart some of the thinking behind his extraordinary architecture. Building Journal had the good fortune to both attend a public lecture and a seminar set up on the occasion of his visit, and to interview Professor Maki while he was in Hong Kong.
