In cities, the most direct and effective approach to pass through the space is subway. What you need to do is to take the right train at the right time. Underground + rail, this highly effective combination allows the temporalization of space. The technical significance of time-space in subway means the time encoding of space transfer for the people. Subway is entangled with urban development in the society, and vies with the city for the priority of time-space encoding. In this edition of City Image, subway will take us to Paris, Tokyo, Beijing and Hong Kong.
