Abstract
For the last 10 years the Aga Khan's Trust for Culture Programme has been making considerable progress preserving Muslim art. More recently the trust has been focusing on heritage architecture. Its latest project is a new Museum of Islamic Arts, which will be located in the State of Qatar. Robert Cairns looks at this exciting new building and some of the architects selected to work on it.
