Abstract
It had long been an unfulfilled wish of the late masters of Miu Fat Buddhist Monastery to further develop the original site into a prestigious development since the establishment of its glorious altar in the early 1980s. Located at Lot 3821 in DD 130, Castle Peak Road, Tuen Mun (opposite to the Light Rail Lam Tei Station), the temple is a famous landmark in the area. It looks unmistakably Chinese, with all its eaves and roofing design traceable to ancient Chinese architectural. In early 2004, construction began on the new Miu Fat Buddhist Monastery.
