Abstract
At its 19th Annual International Design Awards program, the International Association of lighting Designers (IALD) honoured 14 international lighting design projects with prestigious architectural lighting design awards for their outstanding blend of solutions, aesthetic value and integration of the most effective and advanced lighting techniques. One award of excellence, five awards of merit and two special citations, along with six honourable mentions, were announced on June 4 at the IALD's 19th Annual Design Awards held in San Francisco. (1) Award of excellence: Gateshead Millennium Bridge (2) Award of merit: Qiora Store and Spa (3) Award of merit: Morimoto Restaurant (4) Award of merit: MoMA Design Store (5) Award of merit: The Luminous Arc (6) Award of merit: Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Gateway Arch (7) Special citation: Frist Center for the Visual Arts (8) Speical citation: Glowing walls
