Abstract
In recent years, the northern New Territories has undergone rapid development, and has seen a significant increase in population. In order to meet the rising demand for hospita services in the areas, the construction fo North District Hospital, a Hospital Authority venture, commenced in 1994.
隨著新界北區不斷發展, 人口迅速激增, 為了滿足新界北區居民對醫院服務的需求, 由醫院管理局負責策劃及管理的北區醫院設計及建築工程於1994年便展開, 是香港第一個"設計及建造" (Design and Build) 的醫院工程項目.
